How much does it cost?

The short answer is: it depends.  The price can range pretty drastically.  It just depends on what you’re looking for.  It’s like trying to figure out how much a restaurant costs... do you want appetizers? drinks? desert?  It can really can range quite a bit depending on what exactly you’re looking for.

I want to check you out.  Can I just drop in?

If you’re  a member of another affiliate, you can drop in for $25.

Otherwise, if you're brand new you can click here to contact us and we'll get back to you to find a time that works for you to come check it out.

 

If I become a member, can I do whatever workout I want?

Long story short: we are a badass gym with lots of options.  From personal training to powerlifting, we can do it all.  We get that not everyone wants to do CrossFit per se, but we like to think of ourselves as really great coaches first and foremost.

Talk to our members and they'll tell you how much we stress that this whole thing is about learning.  Part of that learning process is getting a good plan for you

 

If I become a member, can I show up whenever I want?

Our gym operates on a class structure.  Each class starts at a designated time.  If you miss the start of a class you’ll have to wait for the next one.  We do this for a multitude of reasons.  To save you having to read a novel on the subject just trust us,  it’s the best/most effective way.

We also have an “Open Gym” from 10am-12pm on weekdays and from 12-1pm on Saturday and Sunday.  For “Open Gym” you can show up whenever you want and down whatever you want.  Just kinda float in and out.  Have at it.

 

 

How close are you to the Metro?

Super close to Navy Yard Metro (green line).  Just exit on the Ball Park side.  Take a left out of the metro.  Turn right at the Ball Park.  Turn left at South Capitol Street.  Turn right on P.  Left on Half and we’re the black building on your right... screw it here’s a map.

 

Do you have parking?

Plenty of street parking on the surrounding blocks. Parking in our driveway is not recommended because technically it's DC public space, which means they'll issue you a ticket (we know... it's nonsense).

Do you guys have a place I can lock up my bike?

There's a bike stand inside the gym. And just with any bike rack anywhere ever, we recommend you lock it up.

Do you guys have showers?

YES. And they're awesome.

 

I’m from out of town.  Do you have a drop-in policy?

If you are an experienced CrossFitter from another affiliate you are welcome to drop-in at DCF.  There is no need to pre-register for any of our classes, just show up a few minutes early so we can get you checked in.  Our only requirement is that you fill out the Waiver before you arrive.
