2nd Annual Balance Gym Dodgeball Tournament

Read the following and if interested email Aldo (ayguerrero@gmail.com) to organize.

Event Details:

  • Tournamenent will take place January 28 at Balance Gym Kalorama.
  • Check-in begins at 3:30PM. Tournament begins at 4:30. GET THERE EARLY. Check-in can take awhile, you’ll want to make sure your team is ready to go!
  • Rules of the game will be explained at the beginning of the event.
  • There will be drinks, food, music, etc. Lots of fun to be had between games.
  • Proceeds will benefit the Cupid’s Undie Run!

Team Details:

  • Teams will consist of 6 – 12 people. There will be six players per team on the court during game play.  Keep in mind, you must have at least one female team member in the game at all times.
  • There will be a total of 16 teams. We’d love to have more, but I don’t think any of us feel like playing dodgeball until 4 AM.
  • Want to play, but don’t have a team? No problem, read below.
  • Team rosters will close on January 26. If your name isn’t on a roster by the 26th, you’ll have to pay $20. More explained in the registration section.

Cost Details (PS… Andrew DCF has decided that DCF will match 30% of your donations):

  • *Early Bird Special until January 15th!*  Teams: $175
  • After January 15th, Team registration will cost $200.
  • Individual players: $20. We’ll find you a team when you get here! Or if you want to register team as a team of individuals.
  • Spectators: $10

    Can I be an honorary DCFer for the day. I wanna be on yalls dodgeball team if you’ll have me. I’m short and kinda fast so that make me hard to hit. I’ll be an asset. Going email aldo.

    So, will DCF be investing in a lot of wrenches for a Dodgeball preparedness WOD?

    My suggestion is to somehoe mix dodging the wrench by doing a burpee?

    The final WOD for the challenge is on Feb 12th? We are trying to plan a trip in Feb and want to make sure we do it after this is over.

    First day back after vacay!! I was slowwwww. But totally forgot how energizing the sound of dropping weights in the AM could be. Missed you guys!

    Someone toootally snatched my wall ball at the 1800 WOD. Stepped away and it was gooone jacked. That’s cool though. First day back so it probably helped to scale down.
